However far more importantly than that, we have safeguarded the jobs of around 20 experienced and talented employees,” said Mark Fallon, Lance Mason Chief Operating Officer. “Acquisitions such as this have been identified as a cornerstone of our growth strategy to facilitate our aim of entering the Legal 100 by 2020.”

“As we pursue our aim of becoming one of the country’s leading providers of legal services, we are actively exploring the potential for further acquisitions to complement our organic growth aspirations” said Mohammed Patel, Chief Executive of Lance Mason. “We are delighted with the support we have been able to provide to our new colleagues in Southport and we look forward to working with this highly experienced team as we continue to grow.”

Lance Mason was established in 2010 by Mohammed Patel with just four employees. It has reinvented the traditional approach to managing personal injury claims by combining state-of-the-art technology, world class agile business processes delivered with a personal touch.

It provides both B2C and B2B legal services. A separate legal costs management division, LM Costs, was launched in March 2013. The business, which holds an Alternative Business Structure (ABS) license from the Solicitors Regulatory Authority, is actively developing a number of other B2B propositions some of which will be fulfilled by building our capability and others as a result of further acquisitions.
