Trevor Dawson, Commercial Chartered Surveyors, celebrated 25 years in business with a function for clients and friends at Northcote Louis Roederer Private Dining Rooms on Thursday 11th December. The gathering was to thank clients for their loyal support over the years and raise a glass to the next 25. This was the culmination of a year of events, the highlight of which was the Trevor Dawson Charity Golf Day held at Clitheroe Golf Club in June, which raised £6,000 for the Blackburn Youth Zone. The Charity Golf Day will return in 2015.
Trevor Dawson formed the business in 1989 and was joined one year later by his eldest daughter, Caroline James who had previously worked for Amec in Manchester. Peter Conroy joined the partnership in 1994 and specialized in Valuation and Professional services. The Burnley office followed again in 1994, headed up by Partner Michael Cavannagh. Jason Rawson joined the Blackburn office three years later. In 2011 they opened their third office in Bolton to complete the triangle of coverage.
Trevor Dawson has been at the forefront of commercial property across East Lancashire with significant headline instructions including the 50 acre fully let investment site at Junction 7, M65, 50 acres of development land at Altham on behalf of Eric Wright Construction, 70 acres at Shuttleworth Mead Business Park sold for development on behalf of Barnfield Construction and 65 acres of development land sold on behalf of Burnley Borough Council at Network 65, to name a few. More recently, Trevor Dawson are the retained agents at Burnley Bridge, which is the first speculative development since the recession of which 50% is sold. In Blackburn Trevor Dawson are the retained agents on the Waterside Development at Shadsworth for United Utilities and in town the landmark Cathedral Quarter.
