Witham: Canadian talent Annabelle comes to the Institute

4:00pm Thursday 7th March 2013

Multi-instrumentalist Annabelle Chvostek will be crossing the Atlantic to take a starring role at this month’s Live at the Institute.

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Annabelle has carved a career composing music for shows and films, as well as performing both in groups and as a solo artist.

She made her professional debut with the Canadian Opera Company at just seven years old and went on to earn a degree in interdisciplinary fine arts at Concordia University.

Having revived her solo career in 2007, Annabelle has gained significant exposure on folk radio and comes to Kelvedon as part of her UK tour this month.

Also appearing is Paul Handyside, who was a founder member of 1980s indie group HURRAH! and is now better known as a compelling modern songwriter.

Colchester-based acoustic performer Johnno Casson conpletes the line-up.

Live at the Institute, at 78 High Street, Kelvedon takes place on Friday at 8pm.

Tickets are £12.50 on the door or £11 in advance. Visit liveattheinstitute.co.uk
