Update on Burnley council finances

COUNCILLORS will be updated on Burnley Council’s financial position this week.

Burnley Council’s executive will consider several reports covering the authority’s spending and cash reserves in the first few months of the financial year.

Coun Mark Townsend, executive member for resources and performance, said: “It’s vital councillors are kept up to date on the council’s cash position.”
