A 28-YEAR-OLD single mother sold children’s clothing stolen in a house raid, Burnley magistrates heard.
Gemma Haythornwhite, who tried to make a quick profit, got £6 for her “stupid” actions.
She knew nothing of the house burglary, and sold the haul to a friend of the victim, the court was told.Haythornwhite, of Ribblesdale Street, Burnley, admitted receiving stolen goods worth £16, on or between September 16 and September 19.
Haythornwhite was given a 12-month conditional discharge, and was ordered to pay £85 costs.
