TWO teams of rally drivers have swapped Rossendale for continental Europe as they begin a fundraising trek for a flood-damaged village school.
Paula and Geoff Riley, Chris Driver and Terry Haworth will travel 1,650 miles through France, Italy, Switzerland and Liechtenstein in their customised vehicles, modelled on Lightning McQueen and Mater from the Disney film Cars.
They embarked on their five-day Screwball Rally journey yesterday.
Proceeds from the trip will be split between Crawshawbooth Pre-School and the NSPCC.
