Mosques bid to help Nelson needy kids

SIX mosques in Nelson have joined together to launch a new campaign to help families who are struggling to feed their children.

The Feeding Pendle and Beyond project has seen the mosques each allocate specific deposit days when non-perishable foodstuffs can be brought to the premises.

In addition, four public deposit points have also been assigned at various addresses in the town.

The food is then gathered together by volunteers from Inspiring Grace, a local, non-profit, community action group, and transported en-masse to already established food banks at St Phillips Church, Christ Church and the Salvation Army. Tahir Anwar, project leader, said: “When we at Inspiring Grace were made aware of the scope of the problem we did not hesitate to lend a hand.

“This issue supersedes all divisions and prejudices. Our aim is simply to serve others by supporting the established causes, and reaching out in compassion and generosity to those in need.”

The mosques involved in the project are Ghausia Mosque, Minhaj ul-Qur’an Mosque, Muhammadi Mosque, al-Hira Mosque, Talim ul-Qur’an Mosque and Madina Mosque.

The first food-drop of the project took place on Monday July 16 with over 1,400 food items donated by local people.

Mr Anwar said: “The Feeding Pendle and Beyond project has had an amazing response from the public, but we must keep in mind that this problem is not something that is going to disappear in the space of a fortnight, and we encourage everyone to continue giving generously.”

For more information on deposit points call 07794 700024.

With all the money and gifts to charities and churches, mosques, etc If they all band together nobody would be hungry or homeless, Whatever the alleged agenda's if genuine needy people are helped out then all well and good. The biggest problem I see is poor parenting by people who can not seem to get the priorities right, Sadly the children suffer.

If kids in nelson etc are starving then maybe it,s because to much money is being sent to Africa and not being spent on our own.

This story is simply promoting "diversity" aka White GENOCIDE via mass immigration and assimilation.

This is how diversity works on planet earth....

ASIA FOR THE ASIANS, AFRICA FOR THE AFRICANS, WHITE COUNTRIES FOR EVERYBODY!

Everybody says there is this RACE problem. Everybody says this RACE problem will be solved when the third world pours into EVERY white country and ONLY into white countries.

The Netherlands and Belgium are just as crowded as Japan or Taiwan, but nobody says Japan or Taiwan will solve this RACE problem by bringing in millions of third worlders and quote assimilating unquote with them.

Everybody says the final solution to this RACE problem is for EVERY white country and ONLY white countries to “assimilate,” i.e., intermarry, with all those non-whites.

What if I said there was this RACE problem and this RACE problem would be solved only if hundreds of millions of non-blacks were brought into EVERY black country and ONLY into black countries?

How long would it take anyone to realize I’m not talking about a RACE problem. I am talking about the final solution to the BLACK problem?

And how long would it take any sane black man to notice this and what kind of psycho black man wouldn’t object to this?

But if I tell that obvious truth about the ongoing program of genocide against my race, the white race, Liberals and respectable conservatives agree that I am a naziwhowantstokillsi
xmillionjews.

They say they are anti-racist. What they are is anti-white.

Anti-racist is a code word for anti-white.

The point is being made about the ongoing genocide of the white race according to policies promoted by the anti-white global plantation owners.

Whites are not having enough babies to replace themselves.

On top of that, highly fertile non-whites are brought into white living space (whites are not allowed to have countries exclusively for themselves or white institutions).

Overtime, what we see is assimilation/blendin
g at an increasing rate. Its happening, correct?

The end result of these two facts, given time, lead to the extinction of the white race.

Since it is obvious and targeted, its white genocide.

Agreed?

Africa is a breeding ground for new immigrants to all white countries. We can't let them starve.

We see whites demoralized over the past 50 years enough that they are not having enough babies to replace themselves.

Then the anti-white global elites are forcing these highly fertile people into white living space creating the opportunities by mating/dating/raping to blend us with them.

Its happening. This is white genocide.

Its planned. we are targeted. its white genocide.

The elites will have a new work force which they think could be much more profitable to them.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If you actually do some research and you will see that there are actually people in Pendle who are living in poverty.

This project aims to help tackle this issue, and at the same time promote diversity and unity in the region.

There are always going to be critical people but I think this is a great way to help people those in need. It is better than waiting for the government to do something. We need more projects like this and give something back to the community.

Some people say that they want to see the Muslim communities integrate more.

Here we have a story about a number of Mosques joining a project set up by local churches to distribute food to people who are struggling to make ends meet from all communities.

Many of the same people who say they want the Muslim communities to integrate more are complaining that this a 'takeover' or a 'hidden agenda'.

So, if Muslims just do their own thing, they are refusing to integrate. But if they join in with non-Mulsim groups, they are taking over. Heads I win, tails you lose.

You can expect what you like but it will always be coloured by your prejudices. The biggest contributing church group to the striking miners of the early 80s was the Muslim church. And these miners and their families were facing severe hardship as the evil government of the time denied them strike pay so they had literally no income for many months. The Muslim people wouldn't see people suffer, regardless of their race or background at all so raised more money for them than any other single group.

One of the Inspiring Grace volunteers is going to go and visit a mosque in Burnley today to see if we can get something organised.[/p][/quote]i live in barnoldswick i have been unemployed in the past i have a job that pays £6.23 per hour the job i do the goverment wont let me have a second job.as i have to have a certain amount of time off due to the law.i have 2 mortgages 1 to buy my house and the second was to bring my house up to standard of living.i could not get a grant to do this as i lived in barlick but yet people in nelson could get one ,willy nilly.the council said they were on low wages ,yes so was i.and they could not afford to do up their house, neither could i thats why i got a second mortgage to do it but yet in nelson its open season on grants and free work on your home if you qualify.well i did but got nowt.im no better off than a poor person in nelson but treated totally diffrentley. coates warder

"Why do people need emergency food?
Today people across the UK will struggle to feed themselves and their families. Redundancy, illness, benefit delay, domestic violence, debt, family breakdown and paying for the additional costs of heating during winter are just some of the reasons why people go hungry."
Nelson is not exempt from this and the situation is likely to worsen when Universal Credit is introduced in 2013/2014 as draconian measures will be made to get people to extend part time working to full time or benefits will be lost.
The Trussell Trust and other food providers are already having to increase their food banks because of increased demand and need.
I think it's great that there is some community spirit (whether it be Ramadan or whatever that brings it about) to provide for the needy and applaud them.
