- A six-year-old boy has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Burnley this afternoon.
- The boy was hit at around 1.45pm in Cog Lane.
- He has been taken to hospital with head and chest injuries but was conscious at the scene.
- The road is currently closed while police investigate.
