    You lot are a discrace.
This was an accident, and fortunately no one got seriously injured.
As for driving at 55, that's fine by me, and all you who think that 55 drivers should stay off motorways are cretins. For cars there is a 70 limit in the motorway. That's LIMIT. Not what speed you must drive at.
If as a truck or other driver, that puts pressure on your time, then look at why you are in such a rush, and address that issue, don't blame a legal driver.
The truth is people like you are the cause of a huge amount of accidents if you can't drive at the correct speed truly hand your licence back in as you are the person causing huge tailbacks and people having to take risks to get past you."

Overturned caravan closes Haslingden bypass

AN overturned caravan closed the Haslingden Bypass for two hours earlier today (sat).

Motorists travelling behind the caravan called for help at 11.30am, after the Land Rover and caravan it was towing jack-knifed.

The driver of the Land Rover suffered minor injuries, according to police.

While the vehciles were recovered and debris cleared, police cordoned the road off between the Bent Gate roundabout junction and the A6177 junction. Heavy traffic built up in the area for some time.
