BURNLEY’S football university is giving prospective students a VIP taster session.
University and College of Football Business, or UCFB, based in Turf Moor, has enlisted the help of former FA chief executive and the centre’s advisory board member Brian Barwick.
Martin Protheroe, former senior vice president of sports marketing at football clothing store Umbro and Daniel Geey, an expert in financial fair play regulations are also speaking at the event.
The event is taking place tomorrow from 12.30pm to 4pm.
Sali Midjek-Conway, head of student recruitment and marketing at UCFB, said: “We wanted to offer prospective students something more than just a tour of the institution, and give them a real insight into degrees and content on offer.
“There’ll even be the chance for the students to debate some of football’s current off-the-pitch issues.”
