A MAN had to be cut from a taxi following a crash.
Two fire engines from Rawtenstall attended the collision between a taxi and a blue Vauxhall Corsa in Thistlemount Avenue, Rossendale shortly before 9pm.
A spokesman for Lancashire fire service said firefighters used cutting equipment to release the man from the taxi and removed him from the vehicle on a spinal board.
The man was then taken to hospital.
