LANCASHIRE's local heroes were celebrated as part of a night of glitz and glamour in Burnley.
After hundred of nominations, 12 awards were handed out on a night of inspiring stories at the Mechanics, Burnley for 2BR's local hero awards.
Overall winners Dave and Sylvia Coulthard were honoured for over 40 years of fostering as they've taken in hundreds of children over that time and were also given the Lifetime Achievement prize.
Other winners included Theo Power, who has been battling neuroblastoma, a rare form of cancer, for over two years.
People in Blackburn raised thousands to send him to America for life saving treatment, he was a worth winner of our child of courage.
Friends Ben and Charlotte scooped the bravery prize after rescuing a lady and two young children from the sea at Blackpool.
