PENDLESIDE Hospice has been given £1,000 after winning an award.
The charity took home the Vodaphone Community Connection Award after staff in its Burnley branch picked it as their worthy cause.
The money will help the organisation enhance the quality of life for people with life-limiting or terminal illnesses and support their families and carers.
Sammi Graham, fundraiser at Pendleside Hospice, said: "It is really fantastic for Pendleside Hospice to have been chosen to benefit from the Vodafone Community Connection Award.
"Thanks to people such as the Vodafone Burnley team, we can continue caring for people in Burnley and Pendle who have been diagnosed with a life limiting illness, their family and carers.
"It currently costs us £4million per year to run, of which £3million is raised from charitable donations.’
Scott Wilson, the Burnley store's manager, said the hospice does amazing work.
