PEOPLE still have time to nominate an athlete for the Burnley Community Sports Awards.
Hosted by Burnley Leisure, the event recognises sporting triumphs as well as the hard work and commitment from volunteers and coaches across the borough.
The 10 categories include adult volunteer of the year, community club of the year, lifetime achievement and rising star.
Paul Foster, head of development at Burnley Leisure, said: “There are some extremely talented sportspeople in Burnley.
“There are also exceptional clubs, coaches and volunteers who are dedicated to developing opportunities for local people to take part in sport."
The deadline is Friday, April 28, at 5pm.
Nominations can be submitted to the organisers by visiting www.burnleyleisure.co.uk/sportsawards.
