TWO alleged fraudsters are facing sentence at Burnley Crown Court for a credit card scam stretching back to 2014.

Khalil Hussain, 24, of Colne Road, and Nauman Idrees, 30, of Taylor Street, both Brierfield, have pleaded guilty to committing fraud by false representation between May and August that year.

It is alleged they falsely used credit cards to make a number of purchases, when they were not entitled to.

But the case against Hussain and Idrees was adjourned by Judge Beverley Lunt so they could attend a family funeral.

The pair will be sentenced by Judge Lunt at the same court on Tuesday (28).
