A MAN who was caught driving under the influence of drugs in Burnley on three separate occasions has been made subject of a community order.
Burnley Magistrates heard how Wasim Akram, 23, of Colne Road in the town, drove a Volkswagen Golf in Colne Road on January 8, Todmorden Road on April 16, and Old Hall Street on April 9, all while under the influence of drugs.

He pleaded guilty to three counts of driving whilst under the influence of drugs.
And he pleaded guilty to driving without insurance during the incident on January 8.
Akram was made subject of a 13-week curfew meaning he can’t leave his home between 7pm and 7am.
Akram was also disqualified from driving for 12 months and told to pay £225 prosecution costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
Magistrates decided to take no separate action over the insurance charge.
