A MAN was found in a “precarious position” on the viaduct near Burnley Central station this afternoon.
Passengers travelling between Colne and Blackburn experienced delays after the incident.

Transport police were called to reports of the man on the viaduct just after 2.15pm and he came down just before 3pm.
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “We were called to Burnley Central station shortly before 2.15pm following reports of a person in a precarious position on the viaduct.
“Colleagues from Lancashire Police and the North West Ambulance Service also attended and a man came down from the viaduct at around 2.55pm and was taken to a place of safety for assessment.”
A spokesman for Network Rail confirmed all lines are now open.
