A prisoner who has failed to return to an open prison has been arrested.
Police put an appeal out for Brent West, 25, formerly of Princess Street, Haslingden, as he was on temporary release from Kirkham Prison but when he was due to go back on Tuesday (September 6th), he did not return.
West was originally jailed for arson in January 2015 and is known to have links to Blackburn, Darwen, Bacup, Haslingden, Ratwenstall, Burnley, Blackpool, Manchester and Cheshire.
But he was arrested at an address in Burnley on Thursday night.
