A MAN has been made subject of a community order after being found to be carrying a Stanley knife in Padiham.
Burnley Magistrates heard Dominic Joseph McEvoy, 24, was found with the small grey knife in the town on July 19.
McEvoy, of Trinity Close in the town, was ordered to complete 160 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.
He must also pay an £85 victim surcharge which will be taken out of his benefits at a rate of £5 per week.
McEvoy pleaded guilty to the offence.
