RESCUE: The man fell from a ladder at a house on Ravenoak Lane
A MAN was rescued by firefighters after he fell from a ladder onto a garage roof.
Emergency services were called to Ravenoak Lane, Worsthorne at 3.45pm on Wednesday after reports that a man had fallen from height from a residential property.

A fire service spokesman, said: "A man fell off a ladder onto a garage roof.
"Firefighters from Burnley pitched a ladder for access and brought the casualty down on a stretcher then he was taken to hospital by air ambulance."
