Investigation launched into Burnley shed fire
AN investigation is under way tonight into the cause of a fire in a small shed behind a terraced house in Burnley.
A fire crew were despatched to Godiva Street near Burnley Campus and Barden Lane Athletics Track in the town after an emergency call shortly after 7.30pm.
A spokesman for Burnley Fire Station said: “There was a small fire in rubbish in a lean-to shed in a garden behind the terraced house.
“One hose was used to extinguish it.
“An investigation is now under way as it appears it could have been deliberately started.”
