POLICE in Barnet Borough have released an image of a man they need to trace who is believed to have links to Lancashire. 


Lester Jackson, 47, was convicted in July 1991 of murder and robbery of Hugh Paton in Finchley in August 1990 and is wanted on recall to prison for breaching the terms of his release on licence.


Jackson was last seen heading towards Cockfosters Station on Tuesday, June 8 at 5.30am wearing dark jeans and a leather jacket.


He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of slim build and has tattoos on his left arm with the names Lester and Linda and one on each wrist which read mum and dad.


Anyone who sees Jackson is advised not to approach him and call 999 immediately.
