A DOG that attacked a police officer in Burnley will be destroyed unless an appeal is lodged within 21 days.
Fiona Susan Hodgkinson, 56, owned a German shepherd that injured PC Mark Crossley in the garden of a home in Melrose Avenue on March 14.

Hodgkinson, of Albert Street, Bank Hall, admitted to a charge of owning a dog that was dangerously out of control when she appeared before Pennine magistrates.
She was given a 12-week curfew, and must pay £400 compensation and £100 costs.
