Burnley man made phoney support allowance claim
A BURNLEY man has been given a 12-month suspended prison sentence after he admitted having more than the permitted level of savings to receive employment and support allowance.
Richard Boughton, 65, of Hereford Avenue, was also told to pay £85 court costs by Pennine magistrates.
