A DRINK driver who hit several vehicles while more than twice the legal drink drive limit has to wait until the new year to learn his fate.
Pennine magistrates heard how Mark Charles Lawrence, 48, got in his car after an altercation with his wife.

The defendant, who has mental health issues, was told by the bench he could have just walked and had made a bad choice.
The chairman added: “That’s what courts thrive on, bad choices.”
Lawrence, of Westbourne Avenue, Burnley, admitted driving with excess alcohol on Coal Clough Lane, Burnley, on November 22.
The court was told he blew 92 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35.
The defendant was bailed until January 2, for a pre-sentence report.
The justices told him they were looking at probation intervention.
He was given an interim driving ban.
