And the business has also announced a new tie-up with a project management company to boost its expertise in the Middle East.

Driver will send 26 consultants to Oman to manage the Batinah Expressway scheme over the next three years.

Chief executive officer, Dave Webster, said: “I am delighted that we have been able to secure this prestigious award by the Sultanate of Oman’s Ministry of Transport and Communications.

“We have worked on many projects with the Ministry who are a valued and key customer of ours. This is the largest project we have undertaken with them to-date and our staff are honoured with the trust placed in them.

“This award further strengthens our credentials in the project management of large infrastructure schemes.”

Meanwhile, the agreement with Canadian property project gurus MHPM Project Managers Inc will combine ‘“Driver’s established infrastructure, network and relationships with MHPM’s strong project management expertise”’, the firms said.

Franklin Holtforster, president and chief executive officer of MHPM, said: “We are pleased by Driver Group’s decision to partner with MHPM. This relationship will provide MHPM with infrastructure and connections across the Middle East to provide clients with specialist project management capabilities.”

Mr Webster added: “MHPM is a very well respected project management business that Driver Group is pleased to be associated with. This strategic partnership allows us to accelerate the development of a project management offering across the Middle East with the capacity, skill set and experience our clients require.

“I look forward to working with Franklin and his team in developing the opportunities we see available to us.”
