A 28-YEAR-old man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with dangerous driving after he allegedly crashed into his ex-partner's car and rammed it into her house in Clayton-le-Moors.
Joseph Nolan, of North Valley Road, Colne is also charged with driving with excess alcohol and criminal damage to a car and a drain pipe belonging to Bianca Brown.
He was sent to Burnley Crown Court to be dealt with.
The magistrates granted conditional bail but prosecutor Catherine Allan immediately lodged an appeal against their decision.
Nolan will remain in custody until the appeal is heard at the crown court.
