THOUSANDS of Clarets fans feel at home in their Turf Moor seats - now they’re being given the chance to bring replicas into their own homes.

But it’s not the plastic versions found in the James Hargreaves Stand that are going on sale - it’s the bespoke numbers used by Sean Dyche and his players in the dugout.

The club believes it will be the first in the country to sell replica dugout seats.

Dyche, along with forwards George Boyd and Lukas Jutkiewicz, visited Nelson manufacturers REM Salon to give the seats his seal of approval.

Dyche said: “Personally, I don’t sit down much during games - I prefer to be in and amongst it on the touchline.

“But the new seats we have at Turf Moor are certainly visually striking and very comfortable so I’m sure the replicas will go down well with our fans, particularly in the run up to Christmas.”

Clarets fanatic Chris Blakey, finance director at REM, came up with the idea for the £299 seats when the Glenfield Mill firm refurbished the Turf Moor dugouts in the summer.

He said: “As a die-hard Burnley fan I’m so proud to be involved with the football club that I love.

Peter Johnson, from Haslingden firm Cassons, which acts as accountants for both REM and Burnley FC, said: “It’s great to see two of our clients working together in such an innovative way.”
