A HASLINGDEN businessman who launched the award-winning Real Lancashire Black Pudding Company will be sharing his recipe for success at an upcoming business network event.

Andy Holt, the ‘King of the Black Puddings’, will be the guest speaker at the next session of Meet and Eat in The Valley, which is taking place at Rossendale Golf Club on Monday, September 8.

Andy’s family-run business, which uses traditional methods and recipes dating back to 1879, serves a variety of customers.

These range from family butchers and farmers’ markets to large supermarkets such as Aldi and Morrisons.

Les Nutter, who is the host of the event and managing partner at Cassons, said: “Andy is a unique character with a great success story.

“I’m really looking forward to hearing how he has made his traditional Lancashire business such a huge success.”

In honour of the special guest speaker, people who attend the event will have a taste of tradition when they to tuck into a black pudding-inspired buffet.
