TWO burglaries have been committed in Haslingden where offenders got in through open ground floor windows.
Jewellery, cash, laptops and mobile phones were snatched from flats in the centre this week.
One of the gold rings stolen has been recovered by a resident who found the item in the street and handed it in to police.
A spokesman for Rossendale Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “That meant a great deal to the victim of the crime.
“Please remember to keep windows and doors closed where easy access can be gained and you are not present.
“Can you help us? Have you seen or heard anything suspicious? Have you been offered items for sale in pubs or on the street and thought it strange?
“Please contact us on 101, or the Neighbourhood email address, Rossendale.NPT@lancashire.pnn.police.uk.”
