A NATIONAL pizza delivery chain will create 30 jobs in Colne when it opens a new store in August.

The Domino’s Pizza shop will be located in Market Street, in the former Ethel Austin's premises, and will feature a mix of full-time and part-time jobs.

Mike Racz, franchisee of the new Domino’s store, said: “We are looking forward to opening our new store in Colne and to employing people who live in the community that we’ll be serving.

“First and foremost, we’ll be employing people who can deliver great customer service and demonstrate strong teamwork skills, as well as boundless enthusiasm.

“It’s also vital to be able to maintain a sense of fun while working under pressure.”

Jobs available will include pizza makers, customer service representa tives and delivery experts.A spokesman for the firm said: “Domino’s Pizza believes in opportunities for all.

Plans for the Domino’s pizza store in Colne Precinct were approved in April by councillors as part of the ongoing regeneration of the shopping area by Pendle Coun- cil’s development partner PEARL.
