Disruptive passengers blamed for Colne to Blackpool South train delay

First published in News

A TRAIN from Colne to Blackpool South was delayed in Nelson by 15 minutes on Monday.

A spokeswoman for Northern Rail said: “We stopped the train in Nelson as some of the station staff had reported the disruptive behaviour of a few people waiting for the train.

“They tried to board even though our staff had told them that their behaviour meant they were not going to be allowed on.

"The train stopped at around 5pm and there was then a delay of around 15 minutes. ”
