IDEAS are being sought by a council watchdog committee in Rossendale.
The Overview and Scrutiny Committee is asking people to tell them what issues it should investigate over the next months.
In the past, the committee has investigated a wide range of issues, including a savings review of street cleansing, domestic violence and young people’s services.
The Work Programme for 2013/14 was influenced by public suggestions, including concerns about public rights of way in the Valley, and the impact of the Welfarm Reform Act.
The committee will not look at individual complaints, planning issues, or other matters dealt with by another council committee.
Requests for scrutiny reviews can either be emailed to democracy@rossendalebc.gov.uk, and should be accompanied by an explanation of why the issue is important and relevant.
Alternatively, a form can be picked up from, and dropped off at, the One Stop Shop, Futures Park, Bacup.
All submissions should be submitted by Friday, April 11.
