HIGH school pupils have been enjoying a January break as part of a residential trip.
Pupils from Ridgewood Community High School, Burnley, have been to activity centre Bendrigg Lodge in Kendal, Cumbria.
Two groups of seven pupils explored Bendrigg, a residential activity centre that specialises in outdoor education and offers a wide range of activities and experiences for people with differing abilities.
Pupils were able to access activities such as an adapted climbing wall, orienteering, a giant indoor swing and the zip wire.
They even enjoyed a real cave and a giant outdoor slide, archery, various low elements and walks and yummy ‘home’ cooked meals.
Learning support assistant Katina Hilgenfeld said: “The Bendrigg Staff were so amazing and helpful making it possible for the pupils to have every opportunity in a fun, encouraging, and caring way.”
