Pendle MP lands role on aerospace parliamentary group

PENDLE MP Andrew Stephenson has been elected as a Vice Chairman of the Aerospace All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG).

The group was established to help support the UK’s aerospace industry which is worth over £23 billion and supports around 360,000 jobs across the country.

Mr Stephenson said: “The UK’s Aerospace industry is the second largest in the world and employs thousands of people locally in highly skilled jobs working with leading edge technologies.

“This sector of the economy is vital to Pendle and I am determined to play my part in supporting the industry.

“This group bring companies, stakeholders and other interested parties together to discuss what more the Government can do to support the aerospace sector.

“I regularly visit local aerospace firms across Pendle and look forward to putting their views directly to Ministers.”

Mr Stephenson has raised concerns of Pendle based aerospace companies several times in the House of Commons.

to give him time off to see to his M.P. job
I mean look after his voters because
he did not help us in the bedroom vote.
