Nelson FC join bond scheme to raise funds

NELSON FC has joined a bond scheme run by Blackpool FC in order to raise funds.
The Admirals recently appointed a new chief executive, Dave Edler, who has expressed a desire to steer the club towards a return to the Football League.
The Victoria Park club, which play in the North West Counties Football League First Division, has issued a plea for members, collectors and agents to get involved in its Gold Bond weekly draw.
A club statement said: “In recent years the club has played with various different lottery schemes without really making a concerted effort to generate a hefty income from them. However, following further scrutiny into the potentially lucrative benefits, we now feel as though the time is right to launch 100 per cent into the Gold Bond weekly draw and hopefully enable some sizeable donations to go towards the club.
“With a guarantee of 70p in every £1 coming directly back to the club this is the chance to secure the future of the club.”
The draw has 315 weekly prizes totalling over £5,000 with an additional annual jackpot of £10,000 to be won.
To enquire about joining, contact Mr Edler at firstname.lastname@example.org
