A LONE woman who was drunk in Burnley late at night started swearing at police, the town's magistrates were told.
Gemma Louise Brennan, 27, was staggering outside a club and started mentioning relatives in the police force.
Officers tried to help her get a taxi, she kept trying to walk away and attempted to get into a pub.
The defendant was turned away from the pub because she could not walk properly.
The hearing was told Brennan was asked for her address by officers and started swearing again and making inappropriate comments.
Brennan, care of Laithe Street, Burnley, admitted being drunk and disorderly on Hargreaves Street, Burnley, on June 29. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and must pay £85 costs.
