BURNLEY and Pendle Cats Protection volunteers will be in Nelson tomorrow to demonstrate the work they do rehousing abandoned cats.
The charity was inundated with stray animals earlier this year but managed to find new homes for more than a dozen moggies after the Lancashire Telegraph highlighted their plight.
The group will be fundraising at Pendle Rise Shopping Centre between 9.30am and 4.30pm with a stand including a tombalo, bric-a-brac and new goods for sale.
The group also gives advice on neutering and spaying cats.
