New duties for former Earby police base
11:33am Tuesday 29th January 2013 in News
TOWN councillors in Earby look set to put one of their former police stations back into good use.
They plan to use the premises at the back of the Council Shop to store flood prevention equipment and will enter into an agreement to allow the borough’s road sweeper to be stored there and create a welfare base for staff.
The last police station in Earby, along Victoria Road, is still seeking new tenants.
