THE installation of new gym equipment at the St Peter’s Centre in Burnley has now been completed.

The Synrgy 360x equipment incorporates leading fitness trends to achieve different training goals including boot camp training, core training and strength training.

More than 75 new Life Fitness stations have been installed, which will provide members to the centre with a gym experience that cannot be found anywhere else in the area.

Coun John Harbour, executive member for leisure, said: “We have ongoing taster sessions over the next few weeks for our members to familiarise themselves with the new equipment.

“We also hope that people looking to start the New Year by getting healthier, will look to the St Peters Centre, and also to Padiham Leisure Centre as the places of choice to do so.”

Neil Hutchinson, facilities manager, said: “As the equipment is new to the area our instructors have all undergone extensive training, and are on hand at all times whilst the gym is open to help users get the most out of their experience.

“We are proud to be the first gym around here offering the Synrgy experience and welcome members new and old to come along and try it out.”
