BACUP firm J&J Ormerod has saved in excess of £30,000 on research and development costs thanks to expert tax advice.
The kitchen, bedroom and bathroom manufacturer teamed up with accountants and business advisers from Beever and Struthers to help to grow its business.
Stephen Greenhalgh, managing director of JJO, which employs 400 staff, said: “Research and development is a cost which is often hidden in a complex operation.
“However its importance in moving a business forward is vital. I’m sure that in the coming years we will continue to work with them to get the maximum relief for this continued investment in our future.”
