Andrew Stephenson MP
THE work of postal staff was acknowledged during an MP’s visit to the Royal Mail’s Pendle delivery office.
Andrew Stephenson passed on his best wishes and encouragement to the postmen and women at their busiest time of year.
He was shown around by delivery office manager Iain Woodcock and introduced to all the postmen and women.
Mr Stephenson said: “It was great to meet the hard-working Royal Mail postmen and women at Pendle delivery office and to see at first hand just how much effort they put into delivering for people at this time of year.
“Postmen and women do such an important job at this time of year. I like to thank them for their efforts and wish them all the best over the busy festive period.”
- The recommended last posting dates for mail are tomorrow for first class items and Saturday, for special delivery items.
