Arson probe over fire at caravan and crane in Burnley
8:00pm Monday 26th November 2012 in News
A CARAVAN and crane are believed to have been set alight at a builder’s yard, in Burnley.
Three fire crews, two from Burnley and another from Nelson, attended the blaze, which broke out in Mitella Street, at around midnight on Saturday.
Crew manager Dave Robinson said: “When we got there, the caravan was well alight, and an industrial crane used for lifting machinery was also on fire.
“We were there for about an hour putting out the blaze.
“We are treating the fire as deliberate at the moment, and we have further investigations to carry out.”
