A MOTORIST who made a habit of fleeing from petrol stations in East Lancs without paying has been left with a £350 legal bill.
Antony Pemberton, 42, struck first at Rossendale Road service station in Burnley, town magistrates heard, in August 2011. Then he did the same at Texaco in Grimshaw Park, Blackburn, last July, and the Holmefield garage in Rawtenstall days later.
Pemberton, of Juniper Court, Huncoat, was fined £140 with £139.48 compensation and £85 costs.
