TRAIN services between Preston and Leeds have been restored following this morning's landslide at Todmorden.
Services were disrupted after rubble fell in Victoria Street, Todmorden, causing delays to services across East Lancashire.
Services were suspended on Northern Rail between Blackburn and Hebden Bridge.
Northern Rail workers were called to the scene and are still investigating the site.
Todmorden train station was closed and rail passengers advised to check their train times before travelling.
A replacement bus service was set up betweeb Blackburn and Hebden Bridge, extending journey times by 30 minutes.
A Northern Rail spokesman said that the landslip and flooding had caused knock-on problems regarding the availability of trains across the network.
Keith Lamley said: "A wall has collapsed and we are investigating. We are looking at the embankment to ensure that it is safe which will be causing delays."
