A GROUP of horse riders and walkers raised hundreds of pounds for charity after a trek around an East Lancashire reservoir on Easter Monday.
They travelled around Hurstwood reservoir in Burnley on foot and horseback, raising money for the mayor of Burnley's charity.
The horseriders were led by Coun Cosima Towneley and Worsthorne Parish councillor Alan Lawson was at the head of the walk with the mayor of Burnley, Coun Peter McCann.
The mayor's charity raises money for children affected by Autistic Spectrum Disorders.
Carole Galbraith from the Mayoress's Committee says about £500 was raised by the event.
