Fire crews rescue man from lift at Worsthorne nursing home

AN elderly man had to be rescued from a lift after getting trapped at 6am today.

Firefighters from Burnley rescued the 80-year-old man from Chapel House Nursing Home, in Worsthorne.

The pensioner was checked over by paramedics when he was released
