RICKY Tomlinson is bringing his laughter show back to Burnley - so hold onto your sides, for they'll be in grave danger of splitting.

The man who we fondly remember as Jim Royle is bringing his one-man comedy show to Burnley Mechanics tonight.

But this time he's invited special guests on stage as well.

There'll be performances from Tony Barton (Coronation Street), Pauline Daniels (The Comedians) and Duncan Norville (Chase Me).

Enjoy two hours of unbelievable comedy with the multi-award winning actor and comedian.

in total agreement , went to the muni last night & like you said ricky only did about half an hour just basicly promoting his book , support acts were ok but all in all it cost me £35 for the 2 of us to see ricky tomlinson for 30 mins so thought it was all a bit of a con & very poor value for money!! , anyone else thinking of going you have been warned its not that great!!

The same line up that was on at Colne Muni earlier this year. The 2 hours of comedy advertised is for all 4 acts, not just for Tomlinson. My brother went to the one in Colne, Daniels was very good, Norville not too bad, Tomlinson did less than half an hour, and a fair portion of that was advertising that his book was available to buy in the foyer.

I find that when you set an alsation on Duncan Norville, his
catchphrase changes from 'Chase me, chase me' to '**** 'ell **** 'ell, not me face not me face'.

Is this a press article or a advert for the show?

'Enjoy two hours of unbelievable comedy' - please, pass the sick bag!

Very poor jounalism - was it written by the work experience lad?
