A WOMAN who died after a house party ended in tragedy will be laid to rest on March 8.

Kelly Moore, 25, was found dead at a house in Russell Terrace, Padiham on Saturday.

Friends said Miss Moore had been on a night out before attending a house party at the property in Russell Terrace. She was found dead at the home at 11.50am.

Police said six men and one woman have been released on police bail after being arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.

Miss Moore was a support worker at Burnley General Hospital and lived in Pendle Street, Padiham.

Friends described Miss Moore as ‘the loveliest person’ and said she worked hard and enjoyed socialising.

Her funeral will be held at Burnley Crematorium on Thursday, March 8.

The funeral cortege will leave Miss Moore’s home at 11.30am.

A celebration of Miss Moore’s life will be held at The Shakespeare Pub, on Wytham Street, Padiham, on Saturday from 7pm.

Everyone who knew her is invited to attend.

Six men aged 24, 22, 20, 22, 25 and 21 plus a 23-year-old woman all from Padiham and Burnley have been released on police bail until May 9.

Police said they were all ‘friends and acquaintances’ with Miss Moore.

A post mortem examination to establish a cause of death was inconclusive.

Toxicology tests have now been ordered.

East Lancashire Coroner Richard Taylor was due to open the inquest today. (Thurs)
