TWO people have been arrested after a drugs raid in Padiham.
Officers executed a warrant at a house, in Cobden Street, on Tuesday morning.
Police seized around 60 cannabis plants from the property. A 37-year-old woman was arrested for possession of class B drugs with intent to supply, and a 24-year-old man was arrested for possession of a class B drug.
PC Rebecca Thompson, Gawthorpe community beat manager, said: “Drugs are a key concern for the local community and we are determined to take action.
“I hope the drugs warrant and subsequent arrests help to reassure local residents that we are taking their concerns seriously and acting upon them.
"Drugs will not be tolerated.”
